Working with an outreach agency in New York, I was privileged to take these intimate photographic portraits of survivors who lost loved ones in the Twin Towers terror attacks of September 11.

These incredible people came to my studio in New York and shared with me how over the past 25 years, they have found strength and continue to honour their loved ones every day.
